Siren's Search (Treaties of Moial #4) --- Book Review

I signed up for this ARC when it popped up on my feed and I don’t regret it one bit. Everything from the names to the types of magic in the kingdom screams “different”. The best thing that I liked about the book was that it can be read as a standalone. Yes, there would be some instances that you would not understand but they don’t matter much. But the best of all and the most difficult to accomplish, is to write an enemies to lovers without making it boring and frustrating the reader. The romance was very realistic and both parties resisted the attraction a lot. But what made me satisfied was the fact that it didn’t come in the way of them saving the kingdom ‘economically’.

Here is the blurb.
A lady trying to understand her magic. A lord hoping to safeguard a kingdom.
For these unwilling allies, a fake courtship is the only path forward.

Reyn Callan has hidden her vivacity for years. Finally free of puritanical Moial, she becomes an accomplished flirt. But her popularity might owe more to succubus magic than her personality. While she struggles to understand who she is and what she can do, the last thing Reyn needs is to spend any more time with the one lord unimpressed by her charms.
